Circle Time ESL Games can be both exciting and well-disciplined, making it easy to keep an eye on every student while encouraging interaction. Today, I want to share a fun and effective game that I've created for my students to help them warm up and practice sentence structure.

Here's how to play:

First, have your students sit in a circle. The teacher will sit in the middle, holding up flashcards or asking questions like;

"Where is the music teacher?"

(and the students will respond accordingly: )

"He's in the classroom."

"Where is the janitor?" "He's in the bathroom."

"Where is the secretary?" "She's in the office."

When the co-teacher rings a bell, the students quickly switch seats and move to the chair on their right-hand side. The teacher in the middle will pretend to find an empty seat and sit on it.

This game is a great way to help students practice sentence structure and vocabulary in a fun and interactive way. So give it a try in your next ESL class and watch your students' language skills improve in no time!
