ESL Games are essential if you teach young learners. I have recorded my live classrooms and here I am presenting the 5 best flashcard games, you can watch and use in your classes.

How to Play?

Game # 5

Have 2 students hold flashcards. One student runs between those two students and touches the cards while everyone repeats the sentence you want to practice as " snails make trails" to make it lively and interesting, the teacher tags the student. Don't miss the fun at 1:02 lol

Game # 4 1:28

Tag the flashcards on the wall. do a random warm-up, then they run to the cards and stay there. The teacher then asks questions accordingly.

Divide them into groups. Each group has a flashcard.

There could be many variations like

Variation 1; when the teacher says the word they need to use in a sentence or else the teacher will hit the card.

Variation 2: group 1 says a word, the teacher will get there and those students will quickly call out another word before the teacher hit the card.

have them stand in a line. The teacher is in front. show a flashcard and say a sentence like a hat " I'm wearing a hat" and tilt to the left and right sides.

Students one by one go to the shop, use proper structures to buy stuff, get money from the bank, and pay.
