This is a brilliant way to practice CVC words and spellings. You can involve the whole class and there is no discipline issue. In this game, they need to recognize the letters, find the words and stand there in order. Then spell and read the words.

At first, they were wandering here and there, but later they got it and enjoyed it so much. It helped a lot in terms of spelling.

How to Play

Get mini letters flashcards or write the letters on pieces of paper. Stick the flashcards on the walls or simply place them on the floor far from each other. randomly give them the letters. Have them find the (other letters) partners and they need to stand/sit near that card. The teacher then asks them to spell and read. Check if they're struggling. Help them.

Note: Don't always act like a grandmother to help each individual to find the word. Have them figure it out by themselves. This is the way they enhance their problem-solving skills.
