If you are teaching young learners then you would always need new tricks and tips to spice up the class and make learning as enjoyable as possible. Sometimes, we repeat the same methods over and over which might interesting but no more effective than it was the first time.
That is why you need to modify whatever you do or you see. There are certain things you can see in my videos probably fun for my students but not for you that is because we have got a different stage.
When we present new words, mostly we use a boring way to show the cards and have them touch and say. I have used the same method with little variations and kids loved it.
