We Rebuilt a Village
In this heartwarming video, we revisit a rural village in Zambia, where we previously met Dora, an incredible woman who has dedicated her life to helping children in need. A year ago, the village struggled with no electricity, limited water, and high crime rates, making life very difficult for everyone, especially the kids. But Dora, who moved to the village five years ago with her adopted children, has been a beacon of hope. With the help of social media, she raised funds to build a school and create a safe environment for nearly 400 children.
Our adventure continues as we team up with Give Power to bring solar electricity to the village, allowing the children to experience light for the first time at night! However, we realize there’s still much work to do. We double our commitment to support Dora by improving the village's water supply, internet access, and more. Among the children is Beauty, a girl who faced a severe medical issue. We share her journey as she receives life-saving treatment, transforming from a shy girl into a bubbly, happy child.
Throughout the video, we watch as the village gains access to clean drinking water, grows its own food, and enjoys the benefits of a reliable internet connection, enabling Dora to continue her work online. The transformation is magical as we see the community flourish, with children now feeling safe and confident. We even get to celebrate the completion of a rebuilt dormitory, dedicated to the spirit of giving and community support. This inspiring story highlights the impact of kindness and the collective efforts to create a brighter future for these amazing kids.
