We Paid for a Free Children's Hospital

In this heartwarming adventure, Darren and Dan travel to Davao City in the Philippines to visit the Cure Hospital, a special place where children receive life-changing surgeries. They meet two siblings, RJ and Sweetie, who are preparing for their surgeries to correct their clubfoot. RJ shares how he can now bend his knee after his first surgery six months ago, and both siblings express their hopes for a brighter future, despite facing bullying at school.

At the hospital, Darren meets Peter, the director, who explains that many families in rural areas have lost hope of ever getting the surgeries their children need. With a waiting list of over 500 kids, the hospital urgently needs funding to continue its incredible work. As RJ and Sweetie undergo their surgeries, Darren and Dan explore the beautiful island, facing their fears and sharing laughs along the way.

The next day, after RJ and Sweetie's recovery, Darren surprises Peter with an amazing announcement: instead of funding just 100 surgeries, they will pay for every surgery the hospital performs for an entire month! This generous gift will help change the lives of many more children. Throughout their stay, they celebrate the joy of giving and the hope that comes from helping others. By the end of their visit, they successfully fund over 160 surgeries and promise to support 1,000 medical placements in the future, leaving a lasting impact on the community and the children they met.
