Educational video for children that talks about how to multiply by tens and hundreds in a quick and easy way.
When we need to multiply tens or hundreds, instead of using a traditional operation, which can take more time, we can use a very simple trick.
For example, say we are going to multiply 30 times 50. To do this, the first thing we are going to do is multiply the non-zero numbers, i.e. 3 times 5, which gives us 15. Then, we will count how many zeros the two original numbers have. 30 has one zero and 50 has another one, so we must add two zeros to the 15 we got before. The final result is 1500!
