An educational video for kids where they will learn how to create superlatives by adding -EST to adjectives. We will learn four rules for creating superlatives:
1) For short, one-syllable adjectives, just add -EST: like in cold – coldest.
2) If a word ends with an E, just add -ST: like in large – largest.
3) CVC rule: if the word has a consonant, a vowel, and a consonant again, we have to double the last consonant and then add -EST : like in hot – hottest
4) If an adjective ends in a Y, change the Y to an I and then add -EST: like in happy – happiest
This video is a great resource for improving grammar and spelling in primary education. It’s perfect for helping children clearly and engagingly learn how to create superlative adjectives, improving their writing and language skills.
