In this episode we install a race engine on a NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race car at the Joey Gase Motorsports garage. We’re actually getting a real race car on the track, and you can see it on Saturday July 25th at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. But as a starter we also race two RC race cars.

A race car needs its race motor installed and Kid Crew is going to do it with dad (and of course the highly-specialized race team crew that in reality did just about everything but opening the hood). Kid Crew opens the carbon fiber hood to reveal an empty engine bay. Then the team rolls a specialized race motor to the car that makes well over 600 horsepower! Then the bring the engine hoist into position and lift the motor into the car. The engine hoist works like a small manual crane truck. After lowering it into position the motor is bolted into place, and Kid Crew removes the engine lift. Once everything is installed, we need to test fire the engine to verify the install. Kid Crew climbs into the race car, puts on ear protection, and installs the steering wheel. Then he starts the engine so the crew can assess it. After shut down Kid Crew climbs out and locates a perfect spot to put a Kid Crew sponsor decal onto the car. Then he cleans the race car and install’s the sticker. Next, our mechanic team couldn’t help but want to do a race of their own. They bring out two Remote Controlled Losi race cars. These things look awesome! Dad in the #3, facing child in the #22. They construct a track using old race tires and some chalk and then head out to a pace lap. Once the green flag drops its nonstop action until we have a winner. You can probably guess who that is. In the educational segment we learn how 4 stroke internal combustion engines work.

Come pretend play with us! Join us kids, toddlers, girls, and boys as we use our ride on toy trucks, toy tractors, and toy equipment to do construction, farming, and home improvement pretend play projects. While we play our games and drive our vehicles, we learn about engineering, science, STEM, and how things work in our educational segment.
