The Things You'll Need:

Vanilla cake 2X Ingredients:

3 sticks (12 ounces) unsalted butter, room temperature

3 cups sugar

6 eggs

2 tablespoon vanilla extract

½ teaspoon almond extract

4 cups + 2 tablespoon flour

4 ½ teaspoons baking powder

1 ½ teaspoon salt

1 ½ cups milk, room temperature

green and pink gel food color

American Buttercream 2X

Ingredients:

2 cups (16 oz) unsalted butter, room temperature

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon salt

7 cups powdered sugar

3 tablespoons heavy cream

1. In a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat the unsalted butter on a medium speed for

30 seconds.

2. Mix in the vanilla extract and the salt on a low speed.

3. Slowly add in the powdered sugar while mixing slowly on the lowest setting. Halfway through add

in the heavy cream. Then continue adding the rest of the powdered sugar.

4. Mix on low until the ingredients are fully incorporated and the desired consistency is reached. 

5. Add the green gel food color.

6. Repeat for the pink buttercream

Ingredients:

Green American buttercream

Pink American buttercream

Purple fondant

Black fondant

Edible purple sparkles

Black gel food color

Pink fondant

White fondant

Edible Silver luster dust

Corn syrup (to act as glue/glaze for decorations)

Corn starch (to help with fondant)

Tylose (To stiffen fondant quickly, optional)

Lemon extract (to act as "glue")
