Penguin Says by Leigha Marina follows Bebo the penguin as he puts on a crown and takes on the role of the Penguin King inside an ice castle. His friends gather around him for a game where they have to listen carefully and only follow an order when Bebo says the right words.
Bebo calls out one instruction after another, asking the penguins to touch their heads, shake their hands, march in place, and move around. Every now and then he leaves out the important phrase to catch them off guard. Anyone who moves at the wrong time is out, and the game starts again.
The penguins get more chances as Bebo adds new commands, including touching their noses, sitting down, jumping, turning around, and making animal sounds. The action keeps moving as everyone tries to stay focused and avoid making a mistake. The ice castle and winter setting give the whole game a playful backdrop.
Penguin Says is an interactive nursery rhyme built around listening, following directions, and knowing when to move and when to stay still. By the end of the game, Bebo drops the crown and admits that he is not really a king at all, just a penguin having fun with his friends.
