Hey art friends! We're drawing The Statue of Liberty! This is America's 250th birthday year (since July 4, 1776), and I wanted our Statue of Liberty to feel like she's celebrating too. So I gave her a birthday party hat, a "250" sash, and a tablet that says "JULY 4 1776" to remind everyone what we're celebrating. Her torch is a shining firework, and there are stars and confetti popping all around her. We'll go through the whole drawing step by step. Grab your markers and let's celebrate 250 years of America together!
