THE THINGS YOU'LL NEED:
· 5 cups all-purpose flour
· 1 tablespoon + 2 teaspoons baking powder
· ½ teaspoon salt
· 2 ½ sticks (10 ounces) unsalted butter, room temperature
· ½ cup + 1 tablespoon solid vegetable shortening
· 3 ¾ cups sugar
· 1 ½ tablespoons vanilla extract
· 2 ½ teaspoons almond extract
· 12 large egg whites
· 2 cups whole milk
· Sprinkles: Red, yellow and blue
· Fondant: red, yellow, blue, white, grey and brown
· Buttercream
