Today's Math Lesson:: Arrays, Factors, and Prime Numbers.
Curriculum: In this episode, early learners explore how numbers can form rectangular grids (arrays) to discover their factors! When Infinaughty traps the survey crew in a rectangles-only force field, our heroes realize that some numbers cannot be arranged into chunky, wide grids. However, they uncover the special secret of prime numbers: even "un-rectangular" blocks like Forty-One, Forty-Three, and Forty-Seven can always escape by arranging themselves into a single, super-long line of one (such as Forty-Seven by one).

The episode begins with Forty-Two successfully teleporting the team to the Rectangular Wreck to locate the missing survey crew. They quickly find Forty-One alongside Forty-Three and Forty-Seven, who are busy shooting a movie about the legendary land of Oblongtis. Before they can regroup, Infinaughty appears and initiates his next cosmic prank by trapping the three Numberblocks inside a rectangles-only force field.
At first, the trapped Numberblocks are dismayed because they do not feel easily divisible or rectangular. They investigate a hole in the ship that is eight blocks long and four blocks wide, calculating a perimeter of twenty-four, but realize they cannot form similar wide shapes to escape. However, Forty-Seven remembers a crucial mathematical secret: rectangles come in all shapes and sizes, including very long and very thin.
By arranging themselves into tall, one-block-wide rectangular arrays—such as Forty-Seven by one—the trio renders the force field useless and easily slips out. His prank foiled, Infinaughty declares he is heading to Half Century Mountain, prompting the Numberblocks to teleport away in hot pursuit.
