Educational video for children in which they will learn the stages of Prehistory. Prehistory is divided into two great ages, the Stone Age and the Metal Age. The Paleolithic is the first stage of prehistory, specifically the Stone Age, and is the longest period of all history. It began with the appearance of the first humans in Africa about 2.5 million years ago. Paleolithic means βancient stoneβ and this explains the appearance of the first stone tools. The Neolithic is the last stage of the Stone Age, it began with the appearance of agriculture and animal husbandry. Neolithic means βnew stoneβ and this explains the appearance of much more elaborate stone tools than in the Paleolithic.
This video is a very useful and interesting resource for children. It is perfect for explaining Prehistory to boys and girls through curiosities about each stage. It is an excellent video for primary education.
