How to draw an impossible infinity symbol for beginners step by step using a regular HB graphite pencil and a Sharpie marker pen. For this optical illusion drawing I first lightly sketch out a rectangle and divide it in two by drawing a vertical line through the center. I then proceed by drawing symmetrical curves on either side in the shape of a number 8 lying on its side.
Once I'm happy with the general layout, I outline the entire image with a Sharpie and apply shading using the side of a HB pencil.
