Hey art friends! Austin and I are getting ready for the World Cup by drawing a cartoon soccer ball! Soccer is one of the most popular sports in the whole world, and the World Cup is one of the biggest events on the planet. We're starting with our pencil to draw the main circle, then we're drawing the shapes that make up a real soccer ball, one pentagon in the middle and lots of hexagons around it (it's a sneaky little geometry lesson too!). Then we switch to markers for color and add some fun motion lines to make it look like our soccer ball is zooming through the air. Once you finish, try adding a player, a goal, or your favorite team's colors. Grab your markers and let's draw!
