Step into a reimagined musical retelling of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. From the quiet lawns of Privet Drive to the thunderous magic of Hogwarts, each verse follows Harry’s first steps into a world that has been waiting for him all along.
Boys and girls, it’s story time—no screens, no calls, no phone,
We’re diving back to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
On Privet Drive ,where “normal life” rules every perfect lawn,
Two wizards walk through midnight mist before the break of dawn.
They leave a baby on the step, a lightning scar worn thin,
The Dursleys drag him into years of cupboard dust and din.
At Dudley’s birthday at the zoo he shrieks, “I want some more!”,
A stomping, spoiled hippo loose inside a gift shop floor.
He bangs the glass in tantrum mode, demands his every bit—
Then poof! the window vanishes—he splashes in snake spit.
Then Hogwarts letters flood the house like magic, swirling rain,
Uncle Vernon rips and rages, nearly bursting vein by vein.
They hide inside a shaky shack where storms and gulls cry out,
Till Hagrid hands the letter—“Yer a wizard. Let’s get out.”
In Diagon Alley, owls and books and broomsticks light the way,
At Gringotts, Potter gold and secrets sleep in vaults of gray.
Hagrid grabs a tiny package—hush-hush, silent, tucked and small,
Then Ollivander’s wands go wild—one holly spark outshines them all.
At King’s Cross Station, platforms end at Nine—no more in sight,
He stands there lost and stranded till the Weasleys shine in bright.
“Just run straight through the barrier,” they grin, “don’t stop, because—”
He bursts out by the Hogwarts train to steam and warm applause.
In one small train car sits young Ron—his trunk, his rat, his grin,
They share their sweets and stories as the countryside spins.
By sunset, Chocolate Frogs and jokes have sealed this newfound pair,
For once, when Harry laughs out loud—there’s someone laughing there.
The boats glide over Hogwarts Lake, the castle stretching high,
The Great Hall ceiling mirrors storms and stars across the sky.
Draco Malfoy offers “help,” hand polished, pale, and thin—
But Harry sticks with loyal Ron—“Yeah, that’s the team I’m in.”
The Sorting Hat drops on each head, it hums, then shouts each name,
Hermione joins Gryffindor in bursts of roaring flame.
Then Snape’s dark gaze hits Harry’s scar like icy shards of glass—
It burns as though a breath of evil brushed him as it passed.
School at Hogwarts won’t be simple—but it beats the Dursley zone,
