THE THINGS YOU’LL NEED:
Green Smoothie Recipe
-8oz coconut milk
-½ frozen banana, diced
-½ cup frozen pineapple
-1 tablespoon almond butter
-1 handful baby kale
-1 handful spinach
-3-4 ice cubes
Protein Balls
-1 cup rolled oats
-2 tablespoons protein powder
-2 tablespoons flaxseed meal
-2 tablespoons chia seeds
-¼ teaspoon salt
-¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
-¼ cup dried cranberries
-½ cup unsalted almond butter
-3 tablespoons finely chopped dates
-2 tablespoons honey
Chicken Piccata
-1 to 2 (8-ounce) boneless skinless chicken breasts, butterflied
-½ teaspoon fine sea salt
-¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
-Flour, for dredging
-Extra-virgin olive oil
-½ cup chicken broth (or stock)
-1 tablespoon freshly grated lemon juice
-¼ cup brined capers, rinsed and drained
-2 tablespoons salted butter
-2 sprigs thyme
