In today's exciting adventure, Thomas and Percy are tasked with delivering delicious fruit to the market. Their friend Cranky the Crane reminds them to be very careful with their cargo. They set off cheerfully, but soon realize that something is missing from their delivery: blackberries! The grocer is counting on them to bring the blackberries for her famous jam, and without it, her customers will be disappointed with dry toast.
Determined to save the day, Thomas decides to venture up the old bramble hill, where he remembers seeing blackberry bushes. However, navigating the overgrown path proves to be a tricky challenge. Despite the brambles and branches making it hard to see, Thomas persists and finally finds the juicy blackberries. But there's a twist! He accidentally squishes some along the way, leading to a funny moment.
When Thomas returns to the market with the blackberries, the grocer is thrilled, even if some of the berries are a bit mushy. Thanks to Thomas's bravery and quick thinking, breakfast is saved, and the grocer can serve her famous blackberry jam to her customers.
