Ellie got a special gift from her Uncle - a cuddly puppy named Nori! Uncle asked Ellie to take good care of the playful pup. "Sure thing, Uncle!" she said.

But then, Ellie got busy with other fun stuff - reading exciting books with her friend Andrea and shooting hoops in basketball. Poor little Nori felt left out and went on his own adventure! While Ellie and Andrea were out playing, Nori went missing. Ellie looked everywhere - under the bed, behind the sofa, even in the doghouse, but Nori was nowhere to be found. "Oh no, where could Nori be?" Ellie wondered, a tad bit scared.

She thought of all the places Nori could be - maybe a stranger found him, or maybe he's lost at a big, confusing intersection! Ellie and Andrea searched high and low, asking everyone they met about Nori. But no one had seen the little explorer.

Just as the sun was setting, and Ellie was about to lose hope, who should come bounding in but Nori, with their friend Alex! Nori had just wanted to play and had followed Alex around all day.

Ellie was so happy to see Nori, she promised, "From now on, I'll always make time to play with you, little cutie!" And so, Ellie, Andrea, and Alex all agreed to share their playtime with Nori, and they all lived happily ever after!

So, kiddos, remember to always take good care of your furry friends and give them lots of love and playtime! They need it just as much as you do.
