Hey art friends! Today Austin and I are drawing a Traffic Light! This is a really fun lesson, especially because it uses simple shapes, and it's PERFECT for younger artists just getting started. Our traffic light has all the classic parts: a tall dark gray body, three lights (red on top, yellow in the middle, and green on the bottom), and little visor bumpers on the sides for each light. Traffic lights help everyone stay safe on the road: red means STOP, yellow means SLOW DOWN, and green means GO! Once you finish yours, you can absolutely make it your own. Try drawing a busy street scene around it with cars, buses, and pedestrians. You could also draw a road sign next to it (a stop sign, a speed limit sign, or a crosswalk sign). Grab your markers and let's draw!
