Hey art friends! Teryn and I are drawing one of our brand new Art For Kids Hub characters, meet Ocho the Octopus! We LOVE drawing octopuses because there's so much fun with all their arms and their funny faces. Teryn changed hers up a little bit and drew Ocho's girl best friend, Ochet, so now they can be balloon buddies together! Fun fact: "Ocho" means EIGHT in Spanish, which is the perfect name for an octopus because octopuses have EIGHT arms! Once you finish yours, you can absolutely make your Ocho your own. Try dressing him up in a suit and tie, a cute dress, a swimsuit, sunglasses, or a party hat. Change up his balloon color, give him different spots or stripes, and draw a whole underwater scene around him. Grab your markers and let's draw!
