π§ THE RELATIONSHIP FUNCTION. How does your body react? | Educational Videos | @HappyLearningEN
In this video, we explore the amazing function of interaction that helps our bodies respond to the world around us! Imagine walking down the street and suddenly hearing a loud noise that makes you jump. Or feeling a chilly breeze that makes you shiver. These reactions are all thanks to our body's incredible ability to perceive stimuli. Our bodies are equipped with special sensors that detect changes in our environment, like sounds, smells, and temperatures. When these sensors pick up signals, they send messages to our brain, which acts as the control center, deciding how we should respond.
There are two types of stimuli: internal and external. Internal stimuli come from within our bodies, like feeling thirsty when we need water. External stimuli are everything happening outside, which we notice through our sensesβsight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing. For example, if we hear a wolf howl, that's an external stimulus that might make us run away! Our brain processes these signals and sends out commands for us to react. We can either move our muscles, like running, or produce substances in our body, like sweat when we're hot.
The function of interaction is crucial for our survival, allowing us to communicate with ourselves and adapt to our surroundings. So the next time you feel a breeze or hear a sound, remember how your body is working hard to keep you safe and connected to the wonderful world around us!
