Meet Beast aka Dr. Henry "Hank" McCoy - one of the smartest scientists and X-Men. Hank is a mutant born with an X-Gene that gave him amazing abilities that allow him to climb walls, leap really far, and hang upside down. Professor X aka Charles Xavier invited Hank to his School for Gifted Youngsters. Here, Hank joined the super hero mutant team called the X-Men. Naturally being a genius, Hank became the team's medic, science wiz, and brawn during battle! When one of his science experiments went wrong, Hank gained blue fur, living up to his codename of Beast.
