This is actually a drawing for the under painting. I don't normally work into sketches that much, just enough to determine where the light, dark and mid tone paints will go, and of course the general shape of the subject needs to be established.. But anyways, I just got some new pastel pencils and I think I got bit carried away trying them out.. Although I do plan on creating some pastel drawings in future that I won't paint over..
