Gordon and Spencer | Thomas & Friends | Season 7 Episode 23
On a bright and sunny day on the island of Sodor, all the engines were busy at work. Gordon was particularly excited because the Duke and Duchess were visiting, and he hoped to be chosen as their special engine. After being washed and polished, he rushed off to meet the visitors but was unexpectedly diverted into a siding, making him late. When he finally arrived at the shed, he met Spencer, a huge and fast engine who proudly claimed to be the Duke and Duchess's private engine. Spencer boasted about taking them everywhere, while Gordon, feeling a mix of admiration and annoyance, warned him to take on plenty of water for the journey ahead.
As Spencer zoomed off to show the Duke and Duchess around, he disregarded Gordon's advice and raced through Sodor without stopping for water. Meanwhile, Gordon and Thomas were busy collecting passengers and couldn't help but worry for Spencer. Sure enough, Spencer soon ran out of water on Gordon's Hill, leaving him stuck. Sir Topham Hatt quickly decided to send Gordon to rescue him. When Gordon arrived, he couldn't resist teasing Spencer about his predicament. With a little teamwork, the two engines were able to get back on track, and they made it just in time for the party. Sir Topham Hatt praised Gordon for his quick thinking, and the engines learned that it's important to listen to advice, especially when it comes to staying prepared!
