Andrea visits Dr. Iris, the eye doctor, because she's having trouble seeing. At first, she's nervous and even stands up to look at the wrong wall! After some funny moments, like mistaking letters for animals and objects, Dr. Iris helps her realize she needs glasses.
Andrea gets to try on lots of cool and wacky glasses, but she feels silly wearing them. However, when she sees how well she can play games with her new glasses, she starts to feel a bit better. But at school, she hides her glasses, pretending her eyes are perfect. She struggles during a pop quiz and in soccer, where she loses the game because she can't see well.
Finally, with the encouragement of her friend Wendy, who also wears glasses, Andrea decides to wear hers. She suddenly sees the world clearly, helps her team win a soccer game, answers questions correctly in class, and even helps Wendy! In the end, Andrea learns that wearing glasses is not only important but can be cool too. The story ends with everyone happy and enjoying pizza.
Lesson Learned:

It shows that it's okay to need help, like glasses, to see better, and there's nothing to be embarrassed about. Wearing glasses can improve your life in many ways, from doing better in school to enjoying sports!
